Repair-Cafe 13.02

We are excited to share the Karen Repair-Café, a fantastic collaboration between IA PhD-student Ernesto Garcia and the Student Union. During Research Week Ernesto hosted an interdisciplinary workshop focused on repair, where students from various disciplines came together, showcasing the incredible knowledge within our student community to support one another.

We invite you to join our monthly Repair-Café, where you can bring your broken projects to work on by themselves, or lend a hand to others.

Ernesto, who is conducting research on the topic of repair for his doctoral thesis, will lead the café and be available to answer any questions.

Do you want to contribute your skills?
Feel free to reach out to Ernesto to organize your own project, or simply drop by at 4 to present your work, connect with others, and collaborate on solutions on ceramics, electronics, furniture, clothing...

The first Repair Café will take place on 13th February 2025 in room S4, where Ernesto will be hosting a workshop on leather repair.

The Repair Café will officially run from 16:00 to 18:00, but you are welcome to stay longer, enjoy good music, fika, and drinks while tinkering and exchanging ideas.
